As hospital workers, you supported our city when we needed you most.

Now tell us how we can support you.

Just when we need hospital workers the most, people are fleeing the work. Researchers at the University of Pittsburgh School of Social Work are conducting the largest survey of Pittsburgh hospital workers ever to better understand why.

This research will investigate the working conditions in Pittsburgh hospitals and provide the Mayor and the city’s leadership and the public an understanding of what our city’s hospital workers face and what can be done about it.

“I’ve always loved being a nurse and never thought about quitting… until now. Something has to change, with unsafe staffing, with hospital workers not having a voice in patient care, with healthcare overall. Every hospital worker needs to take this survey and be heard.

Myra Taylor

Registered Nurse

Hospitals are facing extraordinary challenges and staff are leaving in record numbers. If you are a current or former hospital worker, this is your chance to tell us what it will take to turn things around for you and your coworkers.
